And I thought I could fart

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) — As if getting a DUI wasn’t enough, a man arrested for driving under the influence got in a lot more trouble at the police station. Police stopped Jose Cruz on Route 60 in South Charleston Monday night for driving with his headlights off.

Then, he failed sobriety tests and was arrested.

When police were trying to get fingerprints, police say Cruz moved closer to the officer and passed gas on him. The investigating officer remarked in the criminal complaint that the odor was very strong. Cruz is now charged with battery on a police officer, as well as DUI and obstruction.

Go to Dvorak's Blog and read the criminal complaint.

Italian model offers her Virginity for $1.5 Million

An Italian model and former "Big Brother" cast member says she is selling her virginity for nearly $1.5 million. Raffella Fico, 20, an aspiring actress who appeared on the Italian version of "Big Brother" this year, told the celebrity magazine Chi she will have sex for the first time with a man willing to pay $1,419,595 for the honor, ANSA reported Tuesday.
"I can't wait to see who's going to pull out the money to have me," she said. "I don't know what it's like to have sex."
Fico said despite her high asking price for her virginity, she plans to be choosy about the buyer.
"If I don't like him I'll just have a glass of wine and forget about it," she said.
Fico's brother was quoted by Chi as backing up his sister's claims of sexual purity.
"She's never had a boyfriend. I swear on my mother's grave," he told the magazine. "She's a devout Catholic and prays to Padre Pio every night."

Peanut Butter Crisis

So I have been going through a peanut butter crisis in the last two weeks. My crisis is this: Smooth or Crunchy? Up unto this point I have always been a crunchy man myself but I recently opened the a bottle of smooth and realized that I may like this better. I JUST DON'T KNOW ANYMORE! I like the fact that when you eat crunchy you can always be sure to find about an hour later a nice peanut morsel in the back of your teeth just waiting to be discovered. But then again the smooth is so nice to put on a spoon and take my time with as I watch TV and it seems to melt more in my mouth. I'm at a crossroads here and I don't know which way to step.

THe Next few days....Hurricane Katrina story continues

So around this time I was starting to understand that I was not going to be going home anytime soon and perhaps never. I was lucky enough to have family in Houston so I stayed with my parents and watched television for basically 24 hours a day. I was also drinking heavily because of shock and sadness and for my friends in NOLA that stayed behind and I was still at this point unable to contact. These few days were a blur. In the next few days I would start volunteering at the Astrodome in Houston for all of the evacuees. I'll try and get to that part tomorrow. These pictures are some of the ones that I snapped when I finally came back to New Orleans almost two months later for Halloween.
